Sheryl Lynn Back, M.N.S., CCC-SLP President, Back On Call, LLC I have been a speech/language pathologist since 1991 and have worked in a variety of employment settings. Because I enjoy working with preschool and school-age children, I have dedicated much of my career to enhancing the necessary skills and expertise in the areas of speech/language pathology, special education, and child development. I am also an advocate for promoting the professions of Audiology and Speech/Language Pathology. I am an actively involved member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, the Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the Ohio School Speech Pathology and Educational Audiology Coalition, and the Akron Regional Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I have served on the Executive and Legislative Boards of many of these organizations and encourage fellow Audiologists and Speech/Language Pathologists to become involved in their professional affiliations. Back OnCall was established with the hope that we will be able to provide much needed services to schools and agencies that are experiencing the effects of the SLP shortage. I want to provide alternatives to schools so their students will get the services that are not only required by IDEA Law but are also the services that will make a difference in the communicative ability of Ohio’s students.
